What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
African Shops Near Me is a UK business directory. For any question about this policy or your data, email [email protected].
If you email us to add or correct a shop, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to action the request and to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Directory listings contain business details — shop name, address, opening hours and a business contact number. These are published deliberately, because that is the purpose of a directory.
We measure which pages are visited so we know what to improve. Where analytics are used they are configured to avoid identifying individuals.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Correspondence about listings is kept while it is useful for keeping the directory accurate, then deleted. We do not keep data we have no use for.
